Five Pointed Star - FPS Group [4/4]

Post by TicTac » Sat Nov 12, 2016 5:09 pm

Welcome to Baltimare. It's been 220 years since the bombs fell, 20 years since SnR, and 10 years since Gardens of Equestria was fired off. The world has been rebuilding, farms have been popping up, raiders have been on the decline, and there's one city that's been the center of it all, Baltimare. The once thriving metropolis of trade before the war has been building itself back up to its former glory, but not without help. Five gangs rule the streets of the city. In the south you have The Crimson Leaves, lead by Crimson Leaf. They control the docks and the shipping of Baltimare, and are arguably the worst of the five. Directly north of them, controlling the downtown area of Baltimare and having control of its banks and businesses is the Smooth Trotter Co, lead by Jenny Smooth. In the northern part of the city you have a gang of griffons called the Flyboys that are lead by Swindle Talon. they control the industrial sector of the city. Controlling the eastern portion of the city, where most of the markets and trade are located, is the Ruskin Mob lead by Vadim Valenhoof. Lastly, in the western part of the city, are the Specters. No one quite knows who leads them, or what they do, as the western portion of the city is still mostly abandoned or is only residences.

One question regarding the ruleset and master system. What the fuck is Movement Speed?:pipshrug:

Edit: What the fuck is +1 Movement Speed? Is it a yard added to everything? A +1 to STR, END, AGI, or all three for the purpose of determining movement? How do you want to play this?

Movement Speed is how far you can move with one action. It's based mainly off of your END and AGI, and your STR also plays a factor into it. It's usually used in combat to move closer to enemies, get into cover, ect, and uses AP.

And as for the +1 Movement Speed, could you highlight where you are seeing that please?

Rule One: Cardio - Gain +1 to all movement speed.

Pathfinder - Travel time to remote locations in the Equestrian Wasteland is reduced by 25% and you gain +1 movement speed while outdoors as well as +5 Survival.

Professional Courier - The talents of a true courier is being able to carry more things and carry them faster even when weighed down. You will be able to run faster and carry more weight depending on your inventory size. gain +1 Movement speed and +5 carry weight per 25 lbs above 100.

Nature's Clothes - Ever wanted to feel the cool breeze on your bare skin? Well, you're getting a lot more than that. When not wearing any clothes, your movement speed is increased by 1 and your health is increased by 20. At rank 2, your AP is increased by +20 and Rad resistance is increased by 25% . At rank 3, you gain +8DT and all incoming damage is reduced by 15%.

Also, several of the Martial Arts perks grant +'s to movement speed. None of them really specify where the +1 goes, and it's confusing me because there are multiple movement actions and they're all derived from multiple S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points.

Unless otherwise stated they add their value to all movement speeds.

+1 to what though? Yards? AGI? END? Movement speed isn't it's own statistic anywhere in the ruleset or on the character sheet. There's a movement speed chart detailing a number of movement actions, but they are all calculated differently.

Yeah, to yards. Sorry, I forgot to add that in my last post.

Actually, let me clarify. It's to be added to your regular and sprinting speed in yards. The other formulas should then fix themselves accordingly since they run off of these formulas.
