Well, technically a PnP game need not be an RPG at all. Something like BattleTech, which is also a PnP game, has the RPG component as optional, and you never need to delve into it you don't want.

Ahh, I hadn't considered that. I was more of a Mechwarrior fan myself.

(P.S. I'm not planning in playing Puppy, no worries)
