300 Caps; and .308 rounds cost 2 caps each. 50+3d10 is huge damage for a starting weapon, especially considering the game starts in a slum. 200 caps for a pony living in a slum is, more or less, EVERYTHING they own.

Frankly, the price structure of some of these weapons needs to be reworked anyways. However, if you're perhaps looking for a cheaper sharpshooting alternative, might I suggest the Marks Pony Carbine. 16+2d10 damage, scoped, medium range and costs 80 caps. Fires much cheaper 5.56 ammo (2 rounds for 1 cap)

I don't know exactly how much like D&D this is going to play out, but I know we generally talk about group composition and the roles our characters play in the group: i.e, we have a "tank" a "DPS" and a "healer". Now that's almost certainly not true for every adventure. I guess I just want to ask: what role did you envision your character having? If it wasn't obvious by my characters choice of weapons, adherence to sun-defelcting eye-wear, and military background, I wanted to make a Sniper, like the majority of my Fallout Character before it.

At the moment, Yoshi is a Sneaky Zebra who knows how to survive, Keen_Shine is looking to play to be the medic, Smart Cookie is a Science/Mechanics egghead, and you're a dedicated Sniper. Only thing we're really missing is Barter and Explosives, or possibly a Frontline Fighter (Melee or Unarmed)
