FoE: PnP Group Number 16: Waak's Group

Ayep, yet another group. These things keep popping up - this time due to popular demand.

Note: this is my first time GMing a game - ever. I do have played a numerous sessions of DnD, a custom game and also participated in the first FoE: PnP group - so in that regard I have experience.

This group will be using FoE: PnP (Revised Ruleset) initially, and Advanced Character Sheet as the go-around sheet. Also, items list is taken from Mad_Modd's tweaked Weapon List Mk II.

Initially sessions will be held on Fridays - most players have been OK with 22:00 -> 01:00 UTC time slot.

Little bit about the setting - you'll be wandering in the Northern wastes (think of New England or Scandinavia) PRIOR "sunshine and rainbows" - so nasty stuff is around, and Pegasi aren't that common.

So far I've contacted Ilushia and Lucky of their available times - Lucky's comfortable at playing from 23:00 UTC onwards, while Ilushia's having another game starting at 02:00 UTC (21:00 local time). Mind you that's 01:00 to 04:00 for me, being in EET zone (thankfully it's Friday - Saturday night).

I know that's two out of seven players, so it's hardly set in stone - but if the rest are comfortable with the time slot, we're good.

Also - the core points of the story I've layed out in my notes - it needs some meat around the bones. I also have a map, thanks for my habit of keeping (most) of unused maps on either paper or in 0's and 1's.

That'd be -5 UTC, so 18:00 to 21:00 - same as Ilushia.

News: I redid the map, and now I'm going to - once again - concentrate on the possible quests and NPCs.

Sure, just don't hold your breath as most are happy with the time slot.

It should be noted that most of the United States is currently on Daylight Saving Time, not Standard Time, and so is one hour closer to UTC than normal.

For example, the Eastern Time Zone is currently in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT; UTC -4), not Eastern Standard Time (EST; UTC -5).
