Here's a thought:

Make Bones only join a channel if he's considered a channel op? That way he can't just join any random channel, and anyone who wants him to join their private channel need only op him first.

Only question is if this is something possible to set up, or something along these lines.

I was just saying that it is not nice to be a jerk, even if the people you are disrespecting are strangers. In my book, "they won a popularity contest," is a poor guideline for good behavior.

Not a bad idea, but probably a pain to code. The only way to tell if X_random_user is on the Channel Op list without joining the channel in question is to ask ChanServ for the channel's Op list...which you can only view if you're on it, AND ChanServ is running.

I meant exactly what icekatze said with suggesting a whitelist. It is just way easier to maintain with the amount of channels and users.
And you want to avoid things beforehand, not put them on a blacklist when it already happened.
