The Skyfall event. Some just call it Skyfall, believed to be the true end of Equestria upon first occurrence. Clouds lowered, unnatural storms brewed, and darkness befell the wastes more than usual; all within a certain point of origin. A day passed, and yet nothing more ever happened. From all corners of The Equestrian Wastes people came to witness the event. Some believed it was the Grand Pegasus Enclave's doing, but even the Dashite's were clueless to such a spectacle. After three days, the clouds receded and everything went back to as it was. Skyfall was forgotten, only to become a story to tell to those who would listen.

72 years later, it happened again. A few remembered it from before, yet it still was as mysterious as ever. This time was different however, the Enclave were on scene a day after initial Skyfall killing all who drew near. Unfortunately, even the all-powerful Grand Pegasus Enclave could not keep the chatter to just themselves. A select few words were picked out on transmission, and that's when it spread. "A facility in the sky, unlike any even the Enclave has seen. Nothing compared. Not even pegasus in origin..." A war almost broke out beneath between factions that were formed just for Skyfall. Luckily for some it ended before anything actually came of it. The Enclave disappeared into the clouds once again and most factions broke away. All but one. A secret group, said to be awaiting the next Skyfall...

That’s when it happened. The myth came to life once again...

Chance had it, a certain few be in the same bar out in the middle of nowhere, where the word "Skyfall" drew its ugly head from the lips of some stranger. Turns out that stranger had a taste for alcohol... and a loud mouth. About an hour before time of death, he managed to mutter something about an old group of ponies, locations and "The Last Skyfall". Sad fact is this is two months after Littlepip decided to make her own wastes at the cost of any in her way. A "better" Equestria. We all know that story, and we all have our own takes on it, be it experience or just plain perspective. Yet, the way Equestria bends and changes at the will of a single, enticed mare truly makes it sound as if this could be “The Last Skyfall” With the mess cleaned up, most went on with their lives ignoring such a foal’s tale either uninterested or ignorant to the idea of a chance adventure. A select few however couldn’t shake the story, believing it to be true or true enough to investigate for their own reason. Because everyone has their own reasons…

Please fill out all information and make a descent attempt on a background as I plan to pull and base things off of it like why they would of been in that random, middle of nowhere bar and why that story would of taken grasp of their thoughts. If it didn't stick in your characters mind let me know so we can work out something that would make sense although I would prefer the earlier. Thanks.

Skill Points:
You may only spend Int*1.5 rounded down amount of skill points in a single skill per Level Up!

Character Creation:
Level: Start out level 3
Money: Have 600 caps to spend on anything Teir 0-1 or 2 if you can convince me. Then you have 27*Luck caps to add to your inventory not to spend.
Playable Races: Earth Pony, Pegasus, Unicorn, Griffon, Zebra and Alicorn. Other races are only playable if you can make me look them over.
SPECIAL Caps Changes:
Earth Pony: Strength and Endurance 12
Pegasus: Agility 12
Unicorn: Strength 8 and Intelligence 12
Griffin: Perception 12
Zebra: Strength, Perception, Endurance, and Agility 11
Alicorn: Strength 13, Endurance 12, Intelligence 11, Agility 9, and Charisma 8
You may drop a skill down to 2 minimum and a 1 for Luck

Hardcore Mode:
On top of the rules that follow, my version of hardcore is not for the faint of heart. I intend to truly immerse players in a series of settings that stick true to the horrors of the wastes. The best side of the wastes shall not be ignored. Be fore warned.


Sleep Deprivation, Dehydration and Starvation:
They are exactly the same as in game. Loss of SPECIAL points when any of the essential needs are neglected long enough to cause harm. EN checks are made to avoid said effects for one day, after that you befall the effects no matter what. Eating and drinking twice a day will stave off the effects so that you can operate at full capacity. Restoring damage caused by starvation or dehydration can be cured by eating a full days meal/ level of damage. 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep per 24 hours is needed to not suffer SPECIAL damage. Collective sleep can be used to heal previous damage or allow a player to not sleep for another day.

Sickness:
Illnesses are the wastes second best killer right behind its inhabitants. Improper care of a wound can cause serious illness and eventually death. This is why you need to care for those wounds and watch what you eat. Illnesses grow worse when a failed EN check is made, and you get better when you make an EN check of over 3, otherwise it stays the same. Depending on the sickness it will affect your SPECIAL and skills directly while ill.
Introducing 4 new medical items!
Anti-biotics: 50 Caps
Epinephrine: 75 Caps
Penicillin: 150 Caps
Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Medicine (NSAID): 50 Caps

Anti-biotics: Cures basic infections in ((150-Medicine)*4) minutes. Half on a successful application.
Epinephrine: +3 EN for attempts to stave off sleep. Instantly wakes up non-comatose sleeping targets. 30 minute effect.
Penicillin: Cures Advanced infections in ((150-Medicine)*6) minutes. Half on successful application.
NSAID: Decreases swelling and pain or fever within ((150-Medicine)*2) minutes. Half on successful application.
Bandages must be changed daily in order to avoid infection.


Penetration: (Not that kind…)

Shooting through walls is a thing you know… Depending on the material and thickness they apply a base DT before anything of yours does. Not subject to perks and whatnot.

An inch of thin wood (Plywood): 1 DT
An inch of regular wood: 3 DT
An inch of thin metal (Sheet metal): 4 DT
An inch of iron: 7 DT
An inch of Titanium: 25 DT
A whole pony: 10 DT
And so on and so forth. The list goes on.


Factions:
Think twice before you steal because every action has a reaction. Even helping out one pony will upset another. Equestria and its inhabitants live and react to every action you take. So think twice and act once.

Static SPECIAL Effects:
At certain points in the campaign information or scenarios will become common knowledge for the players that possess the corresponding SPECIALs. This also applies to certain skills.

Explosives:
Explosives do more than just fling shrapnel at you. The release of such sudden and immense air compression yields a destructive force able to throw even ponies back. Every 25 points of base explosive damage over 50 flings medium objects back 5 feet. Different conditions may apply.

Wounds:
Bullets, shrapnel and anything else that doesn’t belong in your body will stay in your body unless a conscious effort is made to remove them. Bigger shrapnel and different types of ammo will be harder to remove. Magical Energy weapons will leave burns that do not dissipate upon consumption of healing potions. Loss of blood will result in decreased EN at different increments.

Life Force: Prerequisites: Level 6, Magic User, Magic 35, End 4, Int 6
You have the ability to turn your will into magic. You may use your Health Points in turn for Strain at a 2HP/1Strain ratio. Lost HP must be restored before casting more.

Strong Willed: Prerequisites: Level 10, Life Force, Magic User, Magic 50, End 5, Int 6
Lost HP from ‘Life Force’ used spell do not need to be restored before casting again.

The Power of Will: Prerequisites: Level 20, Life Force, Magic User, Magic 75, End 6, Int 8
You may multiply the potency of a spell by the number of times total strain used on top the regular amount. The strain used by such spell must come straight from HP per the ‘Life Force’ perk.

Iron Will: Prerequisites: Level 26, Life Force, Magic User, Magic 100, End 7, Int 8
‘The Power of Will’ casted spells may have strain cost split evenly over actual strain and HP strain
Pegasus Tricks:

Cloud Funnel (2 TP + 1 TP per turn maintenance) : From above clouds you may break through them in a controlled spin to create a sorts of funnel. With corresponding survival checks this funnel will trail behind you for as many turns you keep it going up to 2*Flight Rank turns length, and will disperse when no longer being up kept. Multiple pegasi can aid in the use of this trick to create a larger funnel. Depending on the size, the funnel has enough force to move objects, starting at leaves and snow, all the way up to full sized ponies. The lead Pegasus has control over direction of funnel. With a Very Hard Survival Check the lead Pegasus has the opportunity to direct all force to a single point and transfer the energy into a destructive attack dealing 10+1d10 per Flight Rank total of all pegasi involved and a failed check will disperse the damage evenly between her and the target.

I never added a proposed gaming time because I wanted to adhere to the game times of those who wanted to play rather than try and find players that only fit that time frame. But perhaps it might be something to think about adding.

As for Mad_Modds Perk listing.... is laziness a good answer? :pipshrug: I just like how it's laid out a little cleaner is all. I haven't had the time to compare the two extensively to find any major differences that I didn't like about either one

Huh. Looks like you've really thought this out. Awesome. I'm free all weekend too though I can play pretty much any time after 4:30 EST on every day except Monday and Tuesday.

Besides the fact you used only like half your skill points you should place skill points that are tagged into TAG Ranks :derpytongue2: Oh and it looks like you have an 'Advanced' version of the spell Organize. Unfortunately you can only learn 'Advanced' Spells if you have the Advanced Spells perk available at level six. You also have room for one more Manipulation Spell. Otherwise, it looks like you're good to go :pinkiehappy:
