Uhm, I think I started when the 37 was the last chapter.. And between 38 and 39, I read PH because I thought it was canon (Kkat-approved), it was good too but not the same. '^^ (and non-canon too..)

it was just before the 'afterlife' came out i think, best non-stop read though a novel in a long time. makes remember why i love reading.

Chapter 39 juuuuuuuust came out, I believe. That's when it happened for me.
It's hard to kill memories when you remember everything.

I don't actually remember when I started reading. I remember it was after Arbu, because I remember being glad I didn't get stopped on that cliffhanger.

No one started reading from chapter one?
I saw chapter one, but didn't read because I didn't like crossovers... my mind is changed now.
Before the End is the story of an officer during the last two years of the war against the zebras. The story follows his journey through the Battle for Shattered Hoof Ridge, Battle of Stalliongrad and into the unknown.

I didn't read it for a long time because it sounded absurd. It wasn't until I started seeing some of the fanart, and was sick and bored, that I finally started reading... and didn't stop until I caught up (not sure which chapter exactly). Same thing with Stargate: Equestria, didn't want to read it, a lot of people kept saying it was great, finally gave in and loved every word of it.

It was around Chapter 40 when I decided I wanted to read it, but I waited until it was finished and the compiled PDF had been updated and reposted before I actually started reading it.
