Blackjack & Glory VERY early WiP

My latest creation, aiming for another couple's one (like my Velvet & Calamity) piece, but this time sitting and with a Pegasus so goign to try and have Glory's wings wrapped around Blackjack. Which is going to be a pain to say the least (as at the moment, Blackjack won't stand up. I'm hoping the tail will fix this problem.) So if anyone has any tips for doing wings that wrap around something, or any artwork that has this shown that would be a great help!

You're awesome for making this, maybe you could make them sit next to each other and have Glory fold one wing around Blackjack and have their heads together.
i found this pic that resembles a bit what i mean.

instead of Pinkies arm you could make Glory's wing and you could move them closer together.

Yeah I was hoping to have them facing each other. But that wouldn't look as good on a shelf so I think I'm going to go with the side by side idea, with like you said, Glorys wing wrapped around Blackjack. Got sometime off this weekend so I'm hoping to at least get Glory started.

And yeah that pic's a good place to start, thank you for help me on my, now named, quest to epicosity. I'm so using that now, hehe.

Okay, looking at Blackjack I'm not happy with her at all. Don't know what it is but something isn't right with it. So I'm taking her apart and starting again....

One thing I do notice about your sculptures is that you put their rear legs on backwards. Their ankle joint is roughly where you are putting their knee joint, resulting in a leg that looks like it is bent the wrong way.

*Looks at the legs, runs off to look at some fan pictures and stuff* GODDAMMT! How did I miss this... No wait How did everyone who ever commented on my figures not notice this... Yeah going with that, so totally not my fault... Honest.. Really...

I've had a look at some pictures and now think I have the wright idea. Thanks very much otherunicorn, I never noticed this.. Time to make some new leg's :)
