You're really missing something dude and the ending is really far away anyway. You knowing it won't affect a thing except that you are sure that she won't die in the middle of the story and be replaced by another character. xD
Dude, trust me on this. Just read the story. If, by the time you're 20% of the way through it, you're still thinking about "Littlepip in a coma" (which, really, is somewhat open to interpretation), I will be immensely surprised.paladinofbadassery wrote:Sorry, still can't read it
I like to think about what could happen while reading a book, and I can't do that when I already know the ending.
It sucks, because I was totally again in that awesome post-apocalyptic mood (like when I play Fallout) prior to finding about the ending.
Guess I will have to move on
I would really like to be more like you, because spoilers really bother me. I have a few friends that don't mind at all if they spoil a book, movie etc.SilverlightPony wrote:Dude, trust me on this. I've read a lot of books. A LOT. So when I say that Fallout: Equestria is the single most engaging, most emotionally gripping story I have ever read, you can rest assured that that's no small statement.
Furthermore, most of those books I've read, I've read more than once. Very rarely is my enjoyment of one lessened for already knowing what will happen. If you're reading a story to get to the end of the story, you're probably doing it wrong. How they get there is so, so much more important than where they end up. I'm currently reading through Fallout: Equestria for the second time, and I daresay I'm possibly enjoying it more.
TL;DR: What the wiki said is meaningless without the context of the rest of the story; ignore it and read the damn thing.
It's not stupidity. It's curiosity. Which is another reason I think you'll adore the story (folks who have read it will know exactly what I mean here.paladinofbadassery wrote:I would really like to be more like you, because spoilers really bother me. They are more interested in the things leading up to the ending. I wish I was more like them. Any kind of spoilers just breaks the magic for me.
I just tried to read it about 10 minutes ago, and I just don't have the same feeling as i had about an hour ago (when I didn't know anything)
I'm saddened with that fact, and I know that trying to forget about the existence of an awesome novel like this will be hard, but unfortunately, stuff like this
happens to half of movies, books and series that I discover. I always tell myself that next time, I won't read anything about a book/movie on the Internet before actually
watching/reading it, but it seems that I'm too stupid to remember that promise.
The thing is, when I already know spoilers, I just rush through the book/movie until that which I know that will happen actually happens.SilverlightPony wrote:It's not stupidity. It's curiosity. But from what you've said, it sounds like that's going to keep happening until you push through it and read or watch the media in question anyway.
It says: Status - Comatose, inside S.P.P. pod (don't even know what it means, is that like a pod that the Lone Wanderer's father was in F3?)JetWave wrote:Alright, I'll say it since otherwise you're screwed and won't read it anyway. She doesn't get into a coma. I honestly have no idea why they wrote that on the Wiki since it's really unaccurate to what actually happened. Someone must have been greatly misstaken or something. Hope the fact that she doesn't get into a coma was too much of a spoiler for you. xD
Like he said, she's not actually in a coma; the wiki is very misleading. If you want to find out what the case actually is, well, you'll just have to read the story.paladinofbadassery wrote:It says: Status - Comatose, inside S.P.P. pod (don't even know what it means, is that like a pod that the Lone Wanderer's father was in F3?)
I have never played Fallout 3 but I doubt it.paladinofbadassery wrote:It says: Status - Comatose, inside S.P.P. pod (don't even know what it means, is that like a pod that the Lone Wanderer's father was in F3?)JetWave wrote:Alright, I'll say it since otherwise you're screwed and won't read it anyway.
