So, we have just had Ep. 5. Thoughts?

Wasn't as amazing as the rest of season 2 so far, but it wasn't a bad episode. It started off a bit slow but got better quickly. The arguments between Rarity and Sweetie Belle where really well done. I'm even reminded with some of them, got a older sister myself, many petty arguments over the years Loved seeing Rarity's parents, accent's Canadian right? Or am I missing something. The twist at the end with Applejack and Rarity switching places wasn't a bit surprise (Found myself thinking "Aren't Applejacks eye's green, not blue?") but was a good way to end it.

Oh and I did find myself tearing up a bit with the painting that Sweetie Belle did, I did something similar a very long time ago (about 17 years ago now) for my sister after we had a fight. Such a touching part..

it had a simpeons flavor here and there, i liked it because it was d'aw, but really, can't comment very much without saying all the things that have been already said about it's impact on fanon and such... actually, i was happy enough to have a sweetie centered episode ^_^

I liked it better then Lesson Zero, I didn't really like that episode. But, the constant fighting reminded me of my youth. In my case I was the older brother so I got a nice helping of guilt to "brighten" up my day. Still, a great episode, I liked it

I usually don't like Rarity very much (my least favourite of the Mane 6), but she certainly has her golden moments. Especially in this episode xD

I am still confused about her parents though; do they live there? Or did they vacation there? *confuzzled*

I'm sorry but Rarity was, is and always will be the best pony.

Anyway, I get the feeling her parents live across on the other side of Ponyville, hence why we see so much of Sweetie Belle with the other CMC's.

I'd say the parents were relatively local, and they were dropping off Sweetie Belle before they went on their vacation. Married with Children, anyone?

I still can't believe they actually threw out "with Celestia as my witness" like that. I'm looking out for any religious right wing backlash that might pop up.
