Re: FoE PnP RPG group (Group 3)
I'm going out for dinner with the family so I'll probably be a bit late to the game this Saturday. It should be an hour at the most.

Epilogue
Almost a year since leaving home to try and find his father, Buddy returns to his mother and sister in the town of Mare-Sass. He left them as an earth pony colt... and returns as a unicorn filly (thanks to some questionable Solaris Inc technology). Now even better suited to her birth name, Rose Bud made many friends along the way, like Light Seeker who didn't have anypony to go back to... so Rose Bud adopted her as a sister! In fact, she brought all her friends back with her to Mare-Sass!. Buddy's mother and sister were very surprised of course, but now little Rose Petal had lots of big sisters like she always wanted!

Epilogue - Jackhammer
With the quest behind her, Jackhammer looked back on everything that happened and decided that while she might regret a few minor choices and some of the unfortunate things they had been unable to fix, by and large she was satisfied with how things turned out. Most especially, she was very happy to have met a certain little gray mare with a penchant for blowing things up and the sweetest, most motherly personality you could hope for outside of Celestia herself. Well, that's her opinion anyway.
Not really favoring one place over any other, once she and her little gray Cat had escorted RoseBud and Light Seeker back along the Big 52 to Buddy's home in the town of Mare Sass, west by south west of Canterlot, they took some time to discuss the future, and soon the couple decided that they liked the quaint little town. Considering what they were planning, it took a bit of hunting to find exactly what they wanted and even longer to clean out the aerie of Scareows, large, mutant sparrows that could stun or wound with sonic attacks. Still, in the end, after three missiles, a dozen grenades, and twenty healing potions, they finally had the remnants of a large hardware store all to themselves.
Cat knew just what to do with most of the usable inventory while Jackhammer cleared a large area to use as a dojo to teach anyone that wanted to learn martial arts. Most of the home and garden section was offered to Bianca with a small section reserved for potion ingredients and her alchemy classes. The offices made for somewhat cramped but fairly secure and even somewhat comfortable living with only minor improvements, and improvements weren't hard to come by with so many supplies handy and a town full of talented ponies with which to trade favors. It wasn't what they had grown up with, but they found a peace and happiness there for their new family.
While Mare Sass was never a major hub, the involvement of those unlikely heroes in the development of the stallion potion for alicorns earned them the favor of the alicorns and an offer to join the Followers of the Apocalypse. Jackhammer didn't quite feel comfortable joining, but she pledged herself as an official friend of the Followers and wrote a formal agreement of aid for members in need. Actually it would be more accurate to say she made suggestions and Cat wrote the agreement then had her sign it.
Lina proved to be a hoof-full, but with parenting tips from RoseBud's mother and some of the other parents in town, they were able to keep her from causing too much chaos. While she might not have been the best influence ever, it also seemed to help when Lina settled into the role of big sister. It didn't come natural to her, but then they were all learning how to be a family, so she wasn't alone in feeling out of her depth. She might deny it, but those who knew her would swear in private that she grew to enjoy the role even if it was partly because she liked to think of her younger sibling as her personal minion.
A perfect life? Oh, certainly not. There were raiders, mutant beasts, occasional food shortages, and once even an attack by the Enclave remnant, but they faced it together, and in the end they were able to look back and smile because they had done the best they knew how to do and came through it alive. Most of all, she was happy she had a new family to love and be loved by, and all because of a crazy quest that caused her to stumble across the mare that could fill the hole in her heart, her sweet gray Cat, Inevitable Cataclysm.
